Türk bayraklı gemilerin, Paris Memorandumu çerçevesinde Avrupa limanlarında tutulmaları devam ediyor. Özellikle teknik ve sertifika eksikliklerinden dolayı tutulan Türk gemileri, Türk Bayrağının kara listeden çıkması konusunda büyük sıkıntı oluşturuyor.
Ekim ayının ilk haftasında üç Türk bayraklı gemi, Yunanistan, Portekiz ve İtalya'da toplam 16 gün teknik eksikliklerden dolayı tutuldu.
Denizsan Gemi İşletmeciliğine ait "AHMET AKGUL-1" İtalya'nın Ravenna Limanında sekiz (8) gün, Yağcı Denizcilik'e ait "MUAMMER YAGCI" Portekiz'in Setubal Limanı'nda altı (6) gün, M&M Marine ait "HANDE OZGUL" isimli Türk gemisi Yunanistan'ın Patras Limanı'nda iki (2) gün tutuklu kaldı.
Ekim ayının ilk haftasında tutulan üç Türk bayraklı gemi ile birlikte, Paris Memarandumu çerçevesinde, 2006 yılının ilk 10 ayında Avrupa limanlarında tutulan Türk bayraklı gemi sayısı 28 olurken, tutulma sayısı ise 29'a yükseldi.
