Ulaştırma, Denizcilik ve Haberleşme Bakanlığı himayesinde ve Kıyı Emniyeti Genel Müdürlüğü ev sahipliğinde 10-14 Eylül tarihleri arasında İstanbul’da gerçekleştirilecek olan Uluslararası Gemi Trafik Hizmetleri (VTS) Sempozyumu sabah saat 10:30'da İstanbul Lütfi Kırdar Uluslararası Kongre ve Sergi Sarayı'nda başlayacak.

Kıyı Emniyeti Genel Müdürü Kaptan Salih Orakçı'nın yerli ve yabancı konuklara yapacağı  hoşgeldiniz konuşmasının ardından, Ulaştırma, Denizcilik ve Haberleşme Bakanı Binali Yıldırım, saat 11:00 de sempozyumun açılış konuşmasını yapacak.  

Sempozyum açılışında halkoyunları ekipleri tarafından konuklara halk danslarından örnekler sunulacak.  

Ülkemizde ilk kez gerçekleştirilecek olan bu sempozyumla, sektördeki gelişmeler ile bu alandaki bilgi birikimi ve tecrübelerin paylaşılması amaçlanıyor.


Gemi Trafik Hizmetleri alanında standartları ve tavsiyeleri belirleyen “Uluslararası Fener ve Seyir Yardımcıları Otoriteleri Birliği-IALA” tarafından her dört yılda bir düzenlenen ve bu yıl 12.’si ülkemizde gerçekleşecek olan “Uluslararası Gemi Trafik Hizmetleri Sempozyumu, gemi trafik hizmetlerinin gelişmesine ve yaygınlaşmasına katkı sağlayan tüm denizcilik sektörü paydaşları, alan uzmanları, yöneticiler ve planlayıcılar ile gemi trafik hizmetleri bağlısı konulara ilgi duyanları bir araya getirmeyi hedefliyor.
