Furtrans'a ait henüz 1 yaşındaki Anadolu Tersanesinde inşa edilen 140 metre uzunluğundaki kimyasal/ürün tankeri Lido, İspanya'nın Castellon Limanında tutuldu.. Tutulma gerekçelerinden biri de gemide kumanyanın yetersiz olması...

21 Eylül tarihinde gemide PSC kontrolü yapan İspanyol Liman Devleti Kontrol Uzmanları, gemide tutulmayı gerektirecek 6 tane önemli eksik buldu.

Bu eksikler arasında gemideki kumanya miktarının "yetersizliği" de bulunuyor.

Gemide gemiyi terk talimi de yaptıran PSC memurları, gemiyi terkte mürettebatın bilgisini yetersiz buldu ve bunu da tutulma gerekçesi olarak belirtti.

Ayrıca yangın taliminde de benzer yetersizlik görüldü. PSC yangın taliminde mürettebatı yetersiz buldu ve tutulma gerekçesi olarak yazdı.

Kontrolde ayrıca gemideki yağ atıklarının sintine bağlantısı tesbit edildi ve bu da tutulma gerekçesi olarak belirtildi.

Geminin ISM sertifikalandırmasının da gerektiği gibi olmaması tutulma gerekçeleri arasında gösterildi.

Furtrans'ın İspanya'da 5 gün tutulmasıyla ilgili okurumuz Deniz Erenler, İspanya Denizcilik İdaresi'ne bir mektup yazdı.

Bu gemimiz Castellon"da tutuklu iken, Ingiliz idaresi bir kaza raporu acikliyor (rapor tarihi 22 Eylul 2011, Kaza tarihi: 15 Subat 2011,
Gemi Ingiliz bayrak, alaka ordan, kaza yeri Ispanya-Malaga yakinlari)

Rapordaki "K-Wave" Alman isletmesinde 8500 tonluk konteyner gemisi,
2007 CIN yapim, oralarda feeder isi yapiyor, zabitan Ukraynali,
Murettebat Filipinli... Algeciras"dan kalkiyorlar aksam ustu, sonra
Geceyarisina dogru kopruustunde icmeye basliyorlar, 3.kaptanin dogum
Gununu kutlamak icin (hepsini reddetmisler ama konusmalar serefe kadeh
Tokusturmalarin hepsi VDR kayitlarindan cikmis) icmeye basliyorlar, saat

Which is on Charter to "BP Oil –CASTELLON/Spain".

She was detained in the port of CASTELLON/Spain, on 21-26 September 2011
With 6 deficiencies, ALL 6 DEFICIENCIES ARE FOUND AS GROUNDS
FOR HER DETENTION , are as follows ::

We fail to understand detention of a vessel by this long & well established Turkish operator with a fleet of about 10 chemtankers & 8 mpp/container vessels, almost all of these ships newly built in own shipyard in Tuzla, Istanbul/Turkey.

Nevertheless, we will not argue if she is detained in right grounds or

A Turkish tanker operators" ship is being hired by a spanish charterer from Castellon, and she gets detained in trading that spanish charterers" port; Castellon

IS VERY VERY BAD INDEED . . .


This is another example of how the free trade of Turkish controlled tonnage is being severely hindered by using the mechanisms available by regimes, such as ParisMOU.

The authority of high ranking EU controlled flags and/or Recognized Organisations (such as; Malta flag & Bureau Veritas, in this case),
Are totally undermined by the EU port states, basically when such vessels
Are controlled by Turks (or other non-EU peripheral shipowning interests).

The UK Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB) issued the report of its investigation of the grounding of a feeder container ship on the south coast of Spain on 15 February 2011. The container ship was en route from Algeciras to Valencia. Shortly after midnight on 15 February, the master and other deck officers gathered on the bridge to celebrate an officer's birthday. A number of alcoholic toasts were consumed.

The celebration ended at about 0200, leaving the officer of the watch alone on the bridge. The ship/s voyage data recorder reveals that shortly thereafter the ship's course was radically changed. The chief mate, who normally stood the 0400-0800 watch, arrived on the bridge at about 0600 to find it unmanned and the ship aground with the engine at full speed. The master was called and came to the bridge minutes later.

At about that time, the Spanish Coast Guard called to inquire as to the status of the ship. The master initially stated that all was well and that the ship was anchored. He later reported that the ship was aground. With tug assistance, the ship was refloated the next day. The ship manager has dismissed the four deck officers and revised its safety management system.

Mv"K-Wave" passed a ParisMOU PSC inspection with “ZERO” deficiency on 19.01.2011 in Tarragona SPAIN on 19 January 2011 (which is one month prior this accident).

Folllowing above accident (2 days later), on 17 February 2011, in Malaga –Spain, Mv"K-Wave" passed another ParisMOU PSC inspection, without being detained, and only with 4 deficiencies, as follows:

05115 - Radio log (diary) Not as required ??
10129 - Navigation records Missing ???
10111 - Charts Not updated ?
16101 - ISPS Security related defects Not as required

And she has not been inspected by ParisMOU PSC afterwards.

OKAY, TURKISH "LIDO" IS BEING DETAINED IN SPAIN, FINE . . BUT THAN, CAN SOMEBODY EXPLAIN TO US H O W C O M E "K-WAVE" N O T ???????????????



YOU SEE, WHEN IT COMES TO MV"K-WAVE", IT IS, AS IF ;

- NOBODY DRUNK NOTHING (Yet obviously, NO "Insufficient Provisions" here..)
- VESSEL NEVER GROUNDED FULL AHEAD
- THIS ACCIDENT NEVER EVER HAPPENED
- THERE WAS NO THREAT TO EUROPEAN and/or SPANISH NATURE & TOURISTIC
SHORELINE (since NOT Turkish..)

A BIG SUCCESS STORY FOR ALL FOLLOWING ENTITIES, EH :

Last but not least, The Turkish shipoperators belive that the ParisMOU regime, in the hands of indivuals with their bias, already become a strong and efficient tool for iniquitously preventing the free trade of the Turkish tonnage.

This needs to be changed and we will do our best that such HYPOCRISY WILL NOT STAND.
