ÇEBİ DENİZCİLİK’TEN ULUSLARARASI BAŞARI
Denizciliğe Kadın Eli – “Denizde Kadın: Global Liderlik”
Türk denizcilik sektörünün önde gelen kuruyük şirketlerinden Çebi Denizcilik, IMO (Uluslararası Denizcilik Örgütü) tarafından kurulan Dünya Denizcilik Üniversitesi (World Maritime University)’de 31 Mart -1 Nisan 2014 tarihinde İsveç’in Malmö kentinde yapılacak olan “Denizde Kadın: Global Liderlik” konulu konferansta sektör adına ülkemizi, Türk denizciliğini ve Türk kadın denizcileri temsil etmeye hazırlanıyor.
Çebi Denizcilik DPA Yardımcısı Ayşe Aslı BAŞAK tarafından yaklaşık 1 yıllık bir araştırma üzerine hazırlanan “Women’s Role In Turkish Maritime Sector & Global Maritime – Türk Denizcilik Sektörü ve Global Alanda Denizde Kadının Rolü” konulu akademik makale, konferans ana oturumunda sunumu gerçekleştirilmek üzere kabul edildi.
Türk Denizciliği olarak bir Türk armatörlük işletmesi akademi ve sektörün bir araya geldiği uluslararası bir platformda Türk denizcilik sektörünü akademik makalesiyle temsil edecek. Makale konu olarak Türkiye’de denizde kadının sektöre girişi ve tarihçesi, Türk kültüründe kadına ve denizde kadına bakış açısı, yapılan araştırmalara göre avantaj ve dezavantajları, gemide ve karada istihdam, çalışma koşulları, gemide kadın sağlığı ve Türk ve Uluslararası Deniz Hukuku’nda “Kadın” kavramlarını içeriyor.
Konferansa tüm dünyadan yoğun bir şekilde katılım sağlanırken, Türkiye’den BIMCO(Baltic and International Maritime Council) adına Başkan Vekili ve konuşmacı olarak başta Şadan Kaptanoğlu olmak üzere, akademik sektörden de katılımlar mevcut.
Piri Reis Üniversitesi Öğretim Üyeleri Pınar Özdemir ve Dr. Taner Albayrak’ın hazırladığı “How to cope with second generation gender bias in male-dominated occupations – Erkek Egemen Mesleklerde İkinci Plan Cinsiyet Önyargısıyla Mücadele” konulu makaleye ait sunum da ana oturumda gerçekleştirilecek.
Karadeniz Teknik Üniversitesi Araştırma Görevlisi Hatice Yılmaz ve Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Araştırma Görevlisi Cemile Solak da poster şeklinde sunumları ile konferansa katılacaklar.
